The Osteo Collective Cheltenham is already 2 months old, what an eventful 2 months it has been! A big Thank You to all who have already been a part so far and we hope we can be a part of your health journey in the years to come. For those who we haven’t yet had the pleasure to meet, we thought we would give you a little intro to who you might expect to meet at our clinic.

Todd Stewart
(Osteopath & Director)

Todd completed his studies of Osteopathy at Victoria University in 2011 and has since been working for clinics in the South East of Melbourne. Todd has a passion for helping people recover from their injuries and strives to help his patients better understand their bodies.

Todd has always been very interested in many sports and played football, cricket (outdoor and indoor) and soccer when younger and loves to watch many more. Like most athletes, injuries played a role in Todd’s playing career and this is where his love of osteopathy and helping people grew. As a result Todd loves to treat people with sporting related injuries and has been involved in several sporting clubs (East Brighton Football Club, Charter Mason Cycling Team). However Todd’s treatments and help are not confined to sporting injuries. After working for the last 6 years, Todd enjoys treating a whole range of injuries and the discovery of why each patient presents with their specific problem.

After moving from Adelaide/overseas with his family Todd grew up in the local Bayside community in Beaumaris. Todd went to school at Beaumaris Primary, high school at Mentone Grammar and played football and cricket for the Beaumaris football/cricket clubs and has always loved the local community. When looking into starting his own clinic (with wife Amy) there is no place he would rather be and is now hoping to give back and help all members of the Bayside community with their healthcare needs.

I am a big fan of Malaysian cuisine and favourite dish would be a Nasi Lemak.

Like most people I don’t mind binge watching some good TV shows. Game of Thrones and Band of Brothers being particular favourites.

At the moment one of my hobbies is being involved in a Fantasy NFL draft league which I’ve been a part of the last 2 years. I also enjoy playing Board Games with friends and watching sport.

I love to watch sports on the weekends and when I have the opportunity love to cook. At the moment however I am loving spending time with my new family!

I Enjoy watching most sports however the main sports being cycling, AFL, NFL, Ice Hockey, Cricket and Rugby.

My closely followed teams:

Adelaide Crows (AFL), Melbourne Mustangs (AIHL – ice hockey), Pitsburgh Penguins (NHL), Melbourne Renegades (T20)

Amy Stewart
(Practice Manager)

Amy has been a registered Nurse since 2011 working in several hospitals around Melbourne. Amy started her career working at Cabrini Hospital in Malvern before making a move to paediatrics. First at the Royal Children’s Hospital working in their Intensive Care Unit and Cardiac wards and more recently the new Monash Children’s Hospital.

Currently on Maternity leave, Amy is looking forward to a slight career change to a different part of healthcare, being involved as The Osteo Collective Cheltenham’s practice manager. Amy will be one of the first people you talk to/meet at our clinic and we are sure you will love her as much as her family does!

I love soft cheeses!!

I love to watch crime shows (Law and Order SVU) as well as watching Game of Thrones, Suits and The Bachelor with Todd!

Most of my time now is devoted to being a mum to our beautiful baby girl.

I love to catch up and have brunch with friends.

Being from Queensland originally I follow the Reds and Broncos and until recently the Brisbane Lions and now follow more of the Crows with Todd.

I also love to go to the ice hockey and watch the Melbourne Mustangs.

The Team Has Recently Grown!

Todd and Amy have been very excited to recently welcome our first child to the world.

A baby girl, Charlie.

Charlie is now 3 weeks old and will start to be more of a presence at the clinic shortly. Keep an eye out for her at reception!

Charlie is very excited to follow all the teams her Dad wants her to! 😀

Adelaide Crows (AFL), Melbourne Mustangs (AIHL – ice hockey), Pitsburgh Penguins (NHL)

Mum also wants me to follow the Brisbane Broncos.

We are hoping to bring a warm family vibe to our clinic, for it to be an inviting place for people to rehabilitate and progress their injuries/health. We would love to be able to build our own small community to work and improve our health together.

We look forward to meeting you, your friends and family and helping in any way we can!
